Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the Momentito app. By creating an account, you agree to them.
1. The service
Momentito is a daily check-in app built around a shared monthly experiment. Each day you can log a mood score, an impact score, and (optionally, on your device only) written reflections tied to the current experiment.
2. Accounts
You need an account (email and password) to use Momentito. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must provide an accurate email address and be at least 16 years old to sign up.
3. Free to use
Momentito is free. There are no ads, no premium tier, and no in-app purchases.
4. Your content
Your written reflections are stored only on your device — we never receive or have access to them. Your mood and impact scores are stored on our servers and contribute anonymously to community-wide averages shown in the app.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Create accounts using an email address you do not own or have permission to use
- Use automated tools to create accounts or submit check-ins
- Attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or reverse-engineer the service
- Use the app for any unlawful purpose
6. Account deletion
You can delete your account at any time from Settings in the app, which permanently removes your profile and check-in history. See our Privacy Policy for details.
7. No guarantee of availability
We aim to keep Momentito running reliably, but we make no guarantee the app will be available at all times or will continue indefinitely. We may modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice where possible.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
Momentito is provided as-is, without warranty of any kind. It is a self-reflection tool, not a medical, therapeutic, or diagnostic product, and is not a substitute for professional advice.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Germany, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the app evolves. The effective date above will reflect the most recent version.
